LET THE LIGHT IN.
Central District, Hong Kong
The bustling heart of a city that never sleeps, the Central District of Hong Kong is filled with many architectural gems from various eras standing just next to each other. Since the free port's foundation in 1841, this narrow strip of land stretching along the coastline historically was the seat of the government and to this day still is the business centre. Escalating up the hills are residential neighbourhoods housing peoples of different races, cultures and faiths, thus the eclectic mix of vernacular buildings and religious establishments each with their distinctive features.
